The Bible makes it very clear that in the last days there would be a powerful and pervasive spirit of blasphemy. In Revelation 13, we read of this as follows: “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”

Never before has there been such a direct attack against true Christianity and the Scripture as we are now seeing. On April 7th it was announced that a lost gospel book has been found by an Arab peasant who was digging in an area in Upper Egypt. He stumbled on a red earthen jar containing 13 leather-bound papyrus books. These 13 books were written on both sides for a total of 13 plus 13 or 26 pages. These pages were translated into the Coptic language, and the publication is called the Gospel of Judas.  The story of this so-called “gospel” is one that glorifies Judas as the only true disciple who was ordained of the “greater god” for a special purpose for which he would be hated by the world. In one passage of this book, Jesus laughs at his disciples for praying to your god, referring to a lesser Old Testament God who created the world. The disciples then turn away when Jesus challenges them to look at him and understand him. Judas is then singled out several times for special status when Jesus supposedly said, “Step away from the others and I shall tell you the mysteries of the kingdom. It is possible for you to reach it, but you will grieve a great deal.” Jesus also tells Judas, “You will exceed all of them, for you will sacrifice the man that clothes me. You will be cursed by the other generations and you will come to rule over them.”

What rank blasphemy! It is more than obvious to those with even a minuscule degree of discernment that it is the very voice and writing of Satan himself, and the context clearly reveals it. Who would be so evil as to publish such a book as this? The shocking answer is that it is being published by one of the most respected educational organizations. It is the National Geographic Society that purchased the manuscript for one million dollars. That same prestigious society has now declared the manuscript to be true and authentic. It does not surprise me that they would do this, because the National Geographic Society is one of the largest purveyors of evolution and other such false information. The National Geographic Society was started in 1888 on the 13th day of January by 33 men who were all Freemasons. The first president of the society was Gardiner Green Hubbard, and he was succeeded by his son-in-law, Alexander Graham Bell, who is famous for his invention of the telephone.

As if the above is not bad enough, we have now learned that a Jesuit priest, who is now a university professor, believes he is divinely called to restore rightful honor to Satan. Dr. Henry Angsmar Kelly says, “Satan is the most maligned figure in history and has endured 17 centuries of unjustified character assassination.” The University of California professor went on to say, “In the Bible, Satan works for God; he is his prime minister or attorney-general, in charge of policing the world. He is one of God’s angels, and his job is to test people.”

It is a sad fact that millions of professing “Christians” are so far gone in their departure from truth and discernment and are so ignorant of the true Word of God that they will buy into such blasphemous lies that have been hatched out of the depths of hell! Will the Almighty wait much longer to bring final judgment on this reprobate nation and the world? I don’t think so!

Hollywood and the movie industry continue to produce films that insult Heaven and our gracious Savior. A movie soon to be released is the Da Vinci Code. The premise of the movie, which is based on the best-selling book by the same title, is that Christian doctrine is all wrong. The story says that a secret code reveals that Jesus had a physical child by Mary Magdalene and produced a holy blood line and grail that was to continue on down through time until the end. The Knights Templar are supposedly the guardians of the holy blood and holy grail, or cup of sacrifice.  We can see the obvious connection with Freemasonry! Here let it be noted that the Cannes Film Festival release date of the Da Vinci Code is the 18th day of May, 2006. In occult numerology, the number 18 is three sixes or 666, which is the number of the Beast! The general release date of this movie is May 19th, which is 18 days before 06/06/06, or June 6th, 2006. That date of 06/06/06 is exactly 222 days after the Muslim riots started in France in 2005, and exactly 444 days after the second anniversary of the United States invasion of Iraq. When we add those numbers together, we have another 666. The date 06/06/06 is also exactly six years before the next transit of Venus across the face of the sun on June 6th, 2012, which is the day the witchcraft calendar ends. Is all of this coincidence?

The only true opposition to witchcraft in its many forms is the genuine Christian remnant. Mainstream Christianity is twice dead and plucked up by the roots. (Jude, verse 12) Traditionalist and fundamentalist “Christians” are still attacking me regarding C.S. Lewis, because I maintain that he was a witch to his dying day, which happens to be the day that President Kennedy was assassinated. Lewis is purported to be a great Christian author, but he was not a good man. In a well-documented book entitled C.S. Lewis, The Boy Who Chronicled Narnia by Michael White and published by Time Warner, we find the following facts: Clive Staples Lewis was a well-recognized “Christian” author by the year 1939, but he was living with a married woman and had been doing so for twenty years. The name of his semi-secret mistress was Janie Moore. He admitted this in his own signed letters, including photographs of them together. In archived letters, Lewis wrote that he was addicted to sexual self-gratification and swimming naked and had dark inner drives involving sadism and even wrote a discourse on whipping and spanking. He referred to himself as a Philomastrix, or master of the whip. He also spent a lot of time in the pub drinking with the man who supposedly converted him, J.R.R. Tolkien.

The attacks upon true Christianity are numerous in these last days. Some are deceptive but they are becoming more direct. On March 30th, a report was published by Reuters News Service regarding a study that was done on 1800 cardiac patients. The results of the study was published by one of the authors of it, namely, the “Rev.” Dean Marek, director of chaplain services at the Mayo Clinic. The published results basically stated that intercessory prayer had no effect!  I must say that they came along too late to tell me that. I have seen miracles of healing, including cardiac problems.

One example happened a number of years ago when a family with whom I was having Bible studies called me to the hospital in Waupun, Wisconsin, because their elderly father had suffered a massive heart attack and was given no hope. When I arrived, he was in intensive care and hooked up to an EKG machine, which showed a very irregular heartbeat which they expected to “flat-line” at any moment. The damage to his heart was massive. I went in feeling helpless but was trusting in the Lord. A nurse was present and was watching the EKG machine when I applied a few drops of anointing oil to the unconscious man’s forehead. It was the shortest prayer that I ever prayed and I’ll never forget it. All that I had time to say was Jesus, and the nurse gasped and said, “Look!” The EKG instantly returned to a normal health pattern, and the elderly man opened his eyes and talked to me. It was a Friday when all of this happened, and I called the man’s wife at their farm home the following Monday. I asked his wife, “How is Harley doing?” She said, “I guess he’s alright; he’s out working in the field!” Praise God!
