Did you know a Messiah was crowned on March 23, 2004? One was, if you believe the Reverend Sun Myung Moon is one.

Where did Sun Myung Moon get crowned Messiah and titled "The King of Peace?" Inside the Dirksen Senate Office Building at the U.S. Capitol with members of the U.S. Congress looking on! One US Congressman, Representative Danny Davis (Democrat - Illinois) wore white gloves and carried a pillow holding the crown that was placed on Moon's head.

Where was the ACLU and the liberal news media when this mockery of Christ took place - in a US governmental building no less? Probably out plotting a lawsuit in protest of a publically visible Ten Commandments sign in rural Arkansas!

According to a CNS News article, (get ready to fall over) Jewish, Muslim and Christian representatives from the organization that sponsored Moon's coronation and crowning on March 23, 2004 held a press conference on June 30, 2004 to unapologetically defend the ceremony, its location, and Moon's Messiah declaration.

Excerpt from the article:

At the March 23rd ceremony, Reverend Moon spoke of his contact with the spirit world. "The founders of five great religions and many other leaders in the spirit world, including even communist leaders such as Marx and Lenin ... and dictators such as Hitler and Stain, have found strength in my teachings, mended their ways and been reborn as new persons," Moon said, as quoted in the CNS article.

Hitler and Stalin have been reborn as a result of Reverend Moon's teachings, as have the founders of five great religions? What do you think the odds are one of the founders of the five great religions is Jesus Christ, representing Christianity? It isn't hard to see this is the case as Reverend Moon is desperately trying to elevate himself above Christ, considering the title he gave himself.

Isaiah 9:6, written long before the birth of Christ, looks into the prophetic future, calling Christ the Prince of Peace. Because Christ has been under the tutelage of Reverend Moon, in Reverend Moon's mind and only there, it is only fitting that Moon be called the King of Peace, placing him above Christ, the Prince of Peace.

During the US Vice Presidential debates of 1998, Senator Lloyd Bentsen, responding to a statement made by Senator Dan Quayle, who likened himself to former President John F. Kennedy, said, "Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy, I knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you are no Jack Kennedy."

I would say, in response to Reverend Moon's coronation as the King of Peace, "Reverend, if I dare call you that, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I've known Jesus Christ since I was a child. Jesus Christ is a friend of mine and my Savior. Reverend, you're no Jesus Christ."

Matthew 7:15-20: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
