Think with me on this blessed truth - Jesus is coming again.

1. The Bible assures us that JESUS' COMING IS SURE.  His coming is as sure as the dawn.  Nothing can prevent His return.  As He came the first time, He will come the second time.  He promised He would return.  The angels proclaimed it.  The Scriptures predict it.  Yes, thank God, our Lord's return is sure.

2. HIS COMING WILL BE SUPERNATURAL.  As He left in a supernatural way, so He will return in a supernatural way.  As He defied the laws of gravity and was lifted up, so He will return one day in a cloud of glory.

3. HIS COMING WILL BE SELECTIVE.  In Luke 17 we read that when He comes, two shall be in bed and one shall be taken.  Two shall be grinding in the field and one shall be taken.  His coming is only for those who have had their robes washed white in the Saviour's blood.

4. HIS COMING WILL BE SURPRISING.  We are told that in an hour when we think not, He will return.  Many a husband will return home to find his family gone.  Some employers will miss their trusted employees.  Just as Noah went inside the ark and God shut the door, those standing around were surprised to see the rain coming.

5. HIS COMING WILL BE SOON.  I am very excited about the coming of Christ.  As I look at our world, as I read my daily newspaper, as I listen to the evening news, and then as I peruse my Bible, I say it over and over again - surely He will come again, and very soon!  Remember, His coming will be sudden, His coming shall be like lightening.  The trump of God shall sound, the dead in Christ shall rise first, and we shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to be with the Lord.  No wonder Christ urges us to be ready, "for in such an hour as you think not, the Son of man cometh" (Matt. 24:44).

Let me ask you, are you ready for the coming of the Lord?  If you have never accepted Christ as your Saviour won't you do it today, for I warm you - JESUS IS COMING AGAIN.
