A World Where Hell has been raised!

This Saturday evening is the Chinese New Year’s Eve, and it begins the year of the pig. Chinese soothsayers had the following to say about it: “The year of the pig signals conflicts before new world order.” It is indeed a year of pigs as filth and immorality of every kind abounds. The Vatican City has now been declared the number one crime city per capita in the entire world. The Vatican City has a population of 492 citizens who committed 341 civil offenses and 486 criminal actions. That is 1.5 cases per person. These crimes happened even though there is one Swiss Guard member for every four people.

In Milwaukee , Wisconsin , there were 11,152 emergency 911 calls from the public schools during the past school year. In New York City , sex diseases are raging out of control with one of every ten girls infected with either gonorrhea or chlamydia.

In England , figures now show that one hundred teenage girls per month have an abortion for the second time. It has also been reported that England is anticipating an even greater sexual revolution, because beginning on Valentine’s Day, 2007, the sex drug Viagra will be sold over-the-counter. England is also the place where a twelve year-old boy has had a sex change operation. Thus, a physically normal boy named Tim is now a girl named Kim.

The entire world has gone mad with lust, and it is a sure sign of our Saviour’s return to judge the world in righteousness. That day cannot come too soon as far as I am concerned! In Holland , Dutch gyms are sponsoring “naked Sundays”, when people come to the gym for a nude workout. Also in Holland in the city of Amsterdam , a Gay Pride celebration is to include a canal boat for homosexuals from eleven to sixteen years old. The city of Amsterdam is also erecting a bronze statue dedicated to prostitutes around the world. The statue represents a self-assured woman with her hands on her hips, looking sideways towards the sky, and standing on a doorstep. This monument honoring all the prostitutes of the world has received the blessing of the city authorities. So many things are happening that grieve the Holy Spirit of the Almighty One!

We know that the great sovereign acts of God and His Divine intervention happened at times when orders were given by the government to kill babies. When Pharaoh of Egypt gave the order to kill all of the male Hebrew babies, it was not long until God poured out the ten plagues on that idolatrous land and freed His people. We also know that the first coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, was at a time when King Herod ordered the killing of all the children that were age two and under. Historical references tell us that the way Herod accomplished this is that he held a festivity honoring all of the mothers while he provided government-sponsored child care. When the mothers voluntarily turned their children over to the government, the government killed them all. Afterward, the cry that went up was great and dreadful. Some things change so little.

In our country, many millions of babies have been killed before or during birth, and we have a government that permits it. In India , UNICEF reported that ten million baby girls have been killed by their parents in the past twenty years, because their culture is such that girls are more of an expense and liability. What discerning Christian could doubt that the coming of the Saviour is at the very doors? Are you ready? Watch and pray!
