(I Corinthians 13)

  Love is patient and love is kind;
and if you err, love doesn’t mind.

Love is not jealous and love does not brag,
love doesn’t wear an expensive price tag.

Love isn’t arrogant and love isn’t uncouth;
nor does it distinguish between old age and youth.

Love is not selfish nor ever provoked,
as long as you are equally yoked.

 Love rejoices in truth, and doesn’t hold a grudge;
and love doesn’t feel the need to judge.

Love bears, believes, hopes & endures all things;
love never fails and it makes your heart sing.

Now abides faith and hope and love,
but love is the greatest gift from above.
