An Angel In Flight

Like an angel on the earth

She walked in His ways.

Always caring for others

Until the end of her days.

With a shining heart of gold

And an armor of steel.

She took her food from Him daily

And shared His loving meal.

She nurtured His children

Both elder and small.

Without a moments hesitation

She always answered His call.

She walked through the foggy valleys

And on His shining road above.

To lead His children to safety
And to teach them His love.

With her burden sometimes heavy

And her travel often tough.

He said her mission was finished

He said, "Enough was enough."

So He unfolded her wings

On an evening of late.

Instead of walking into the kingdom

She soared through the gate.
