At the season of the harvest,
when the wheat is at its best,
the Son of Man will take us home
to our eternal rest.

He’ll descend and give a shout
to wake the righteous dead;
and then we’ll join them in the clouds,
just as He always said.

The wheat is not quite ready yet,
there’s still work for us to do.
But we’ll receive our just rewards
when the time of reaping’s due.
