Hi, precious ones!  Following are photos of the jewelry I created for my family members and gave to them at our family party (which we didn't have until January 9, 2010.  I've shown different views of each piece.  Richard took the photos of the jewelry laying on his Harley throw, which we have spread across the bed during these cold nights.  Enjoy... I had a BLAST creating them!

Love to you in Him!

Peggy

Shelly's jewelry.  She got 2 sets from me because her BD was December 23rd.  First is the pink set.  She LOVES hearts, so I included some hearts along with some butterfly spacers, and colored and white pearls.  The bracelet was strung on memory wire.  Incidentally, be sure to use caution when using memory wire... you haven't LIVED until you've been popped with that stuff!  Sheeeeeesh, and I've popped myself TWICE!  Me, learn a lesson the first time... noooooooooooo!  :)  Memory wire looks identical to Slinkies, but have the pop of an animal trap!  I do LOVE working with it, though, because it's SO easy to string things, and you can have as many layers as you wish.  It comes in small bracelet, large bracelet, and necklace sizes.  Shelly's was strung on the small bracelet size, because she has tiny wrists.

For Christmas, I made her some magnetic jewelry, using black and pale amethyst colored magnetic "beads", strung on memory wire.  The earrings are magnetic too.

Tommy's (Shelly's husband) necklace.  I strung his on elastic cord, too.  I used various shades of brown beads... some were wooden, some tiger's eye glass beads, some gold plastic spacers, and some gold metal spacers.

My Christmas gift.  This is a ring he purchased online from Idan Jewelry in Jerusalem, Israel.  It's a silver YHWH ring, which YHWH written in Hebrew.  I also have a YHWH necklace with the Tetragrammaton from the same jewelry store.  I keep it hanging from my rearview mirror in my Cruiser.  The coloring in the photos is pretty bad; case in point, the ring is on my index finger of my right hand.  :)

My new 64-drawer organizer that Richard bought me for my BD (12/21)... I absolutely LOVE it!!!  I created an Excel spreadsheet to inventory the contents of each drawer.  What a wonderful gift!!!  Richard said he used to find ashes all over the house (I smoked for 35 years, until 2006), then it was nicotine gum (he still find that), now it's beads everywhere... he walks on them, he sits on them, he lays on them... ha!  I'll be beading, and drop a bead here and there, and can't find them.  Hopefully this organizer will help?!!???
