Let Me Be a Blessing

Lord, let me be a blessing

to someone every day,

and give You praise and glory

in all I do and say.

If someone needs Your healing,

let me tell them, my dear God,

of how You healed my husband

of things, against all odds!

If someone, Lord, is grieving,

let me point them to You,

and tell them of Your peace, Lord,

for I have been there, too.

If someone needs a smile, Lord,

let my happiness show through;

and since You live inside me,

let my face tell them of You!

Let me be all things for them,

With the Holy Spirit’s aid;

And serve Your purposes, Lord,

With the Peggy that you made!

When We Step To the Other Side

We’ll be in perfect union with Him

when we step to the Other Side.

And our Father Himself has told us

that forever with us He’ll abide!

He says He’ll wipe away all our tears

when we step to the Other Side;

that we’ll live in perfect harmony…

no prejudice, hate or pride!

We’ll finally look upon His face

when we step to the Other Side;

and our precious Savior promises

we’ll be His cherished Bride!

 Me Do It Meself!

When I was just a little girl,

my Mom would ask to help me.

I’d say, “No, me do it meself!”

I haven’t changed much, you see!

First, I usually do it myself,

BEFORE I give it to Him!

You’d think I’d have already learned

to FIRST let go of them!

I struggle, I worry, and I fret,

to the point of being ill!

When I should know inside that

my needs are in His Will!

Just a little notion here,

to carry you through the day…

if all else seems to fail,

you might decide to pray!!!

We Must Be Born Again

What must a person do

to make sure that he is saved;

and rise above this current life,

where man is so depraved?

First, know that we’re all sinners,

and that death’s the payment for sin;

and that to gain eternal life,

we must be Born Again.

Because God’s just, He sent His Son

to die for me and you.

His precious blood was shed for us,

no further payment due.

Ask the Lord to forgive your sins,

ask Jesus into your heart,

then you’ll know that you are saved,

and will never be apart!
