Ten
Righteous Men
God
hated the sin in Noah’s day,
for men’s hearts were full of sin.
He would have relented if only
He could've found ten righteous men.
God’s
judgment was ready to fall,
and Abraham prayed for his kin.
“Will you spare them, mighty God,
if You can find ten righteous men?"
We’re
headed that way right now,
He’s going to judge us again.
But He’ll spare us ‘til the Rapture,
for the sake of ten righteous men!
When
God judges our world of today,
what will you say to Him then?
“Oh, Lord, if only I had been,
one of those ten righteous men!”

Then he
said, "Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this
once; suppose ten are found there?" And He said, "I will not
destroy it on account of the ten." Genesis
18:32
...but
on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone
from heaven and destroyed them all.

17:29

An Ark Full of Critters
Before the flood, Noah loaded the ark
with 2 bears, 2 lions, and some larks.
But why, oh why’d God have to put
two spiders on the ark???
I’m OK with 2 elephants,
2 zebras, 2 cows and 2 goats;
but why do you figure He wanted to put
2 termites on a wooden boat???
Horses are also OK with me,
and dogs and cats and mandrakes;
but for the life of me, I can’t figure
His reason for adding on snakes!
It was cool that He added ostriches,
and giraffes and pigs and crows,
but I can’t think of a single good thing
about fleas, ticks or mosquitoes!
I’ve often wondered about these things,
one day I’ll have to ask Him.
I’m firmly convinced that flies must be
a result of man’s penchant for sin!

The King Died In My Place (song)
As I stand before the Throne,
and see Him face to face,
there will be no condemnation,
for Christ died in my place.
CHORUS
His blood was shed in agony,
pain etched in His face.
My sins were washed away,
yes, the King died in my place!
My sins will be as snow then,
all due to His grace;
sanctified by His sweet blood,
the King died in my place.
When He calls me to Him,
and finally we embrace,
I’ll tell Him, “Thank You, Jesus,
for dying in my place!”

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Something Right for God
When things seem topsy-turvy
confused and rather odd,
tell yourself you must be doing
something right for God!
The narrow path is full of traps
that Satan throws our way;
he wants to steal the joy we get
from serving God each day!
Don't let that scare you, brethren,
and please do not forget,
that he can only do as much
as Yahweh will permit.
I find it is well worth it
not to follow with the crowd,
but to give my best to Jesus,
and make the Lord God proud!
