are constant changes
in this cold, cruel world,
but naught will change the fact that
I’m Daddy’s little girl.
Even though I'm a woman now,
a long time on my own,
I'll never stop being your baby,
just because I'm grown.
The impact that you've had on me,
as I grew to be mature,
molding me to love our Lord,
made my salvation sure.
You'll always be my Daddy,
as eternity unfolds,
reigning with our Savior,
on the streets of gold.
You've always been so kind and good,
a rare and perfect pearl;
and I love you, Dad, with all my heart,
signed: Daddy's little girl!
