  Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants to “wipe Israel off the map.” Why? Could he be afraid of Israel, the nation that comprises less than one-one thousandth of the world’s population? Pharaoh, Haman, Nebuchadnezzar, Titus, Hitler and the leaders of the Inquisition did everything in their power to wipe the Jewish people off the face of the earth. Why? Fear and dread.

  Those who don’t know the Bible are easily taken in by the teachings of the Koran (Islam’s “holy” book) and its hadith legends (traditions relating to Mohammed), as they have nothing to compare it with.

  Bowing to international pressure, Syria complied with UN Security Council resolution 1559 and pulled its 30,000 soldiers out of Lebanon. While the US and UN praised the withdrawal as a victory for freedom and democracy, they’re not cheering yet.

  Isn’t it going too far to chide all the nations who want to divide the Land of Israel into a Jewish state and a Palestinian state? After all, they are only trying to finally achieve peace in the Middle East through their peace initiatives.

• God’s Threshing Floor <- FEATURE!!!
  For thousands of years, the most disputed threshing floor in the world has been Jerusalem’s Temple Mount on Mount Moriah, known as Har HaBayit in Hebrew (Mountain of the House [of the Lord]) and al-Haram-al-Sharif in Arabic (The Noble Sanctuary).

Miscellaneous -

• Is the Star of David an occult Symbol? <- FEATURE!!!
  The Star of David is neither an occult symbol, nor a redeeming one, with “magical” powers to save. It is simply a symbol representing the rebirth of the nation of Israel in accordance with the promises of God. When the wise men “saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy” (Matthew 2:10); it alerted them to the coming of the Messiah. In the same way, the star in Israel’s flag announces the (second) coming of the Messiah.

"Peace" Plan -

• Peace at any Price…even if it is a false peace <- FEATURE!!!
  Since the State of Israel was founded in 1948 it has been striving for peace. But three wars to defend its right to exist (the War of Independence in 1948; the Six Day War in 1967; and the Yom Kippur War in 1973) as well as the wars in between (the Sinai Campaign in 1956 and the Lebanon War in 1982) have ensured that there has been no peace for Israelis.

• The New Jew <- FEATURE!!!
  There seems to be a swell in the interest of Israelis in Judaism. People talk about Bible and religion like never before, and there are abundant indications for it. For the unfamiliar reader, it needs to be clarified that for two centuries, Jews don't like their religion for the same reasons Christians grew to dislike their religion. However, within the last 10 or 15 years, Israelis have begun to ask, "If our secular values are so marvelous, how is it that crime and corruption have become so rampant?"

• We Need a Spiritual Renaissance <- FEATURE!!!
  When renowned novelist David Grossman spoke at the annual commemoration of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination, much of the reaction to his harsh criticism of the government focused on the fact that he is a far left-winger. Grossman’s son Uri died in the Lebanon War last summer, further fueling his words. But the reaction to his strong words demonstrated how true they were: The political debate in Israel is shallow and simplistic.

Temple Mount -

• Tension High at the Temple Mount <- FEATURE!!!
  The clash between Israel and the Islamic world, between the Bible and the Koran, has a cosmic focal point— the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. As the site of the two biblical Temples, it is the holiest place in Judaism. But today it is home to the Mosque of Al Aksa and golden Dome of the Rock, ostensibly the place where Mohammed ascended to heaven, though the Koran never mentions Jerusalem by name. It is the third holiest place in Islam.
