  American plans to build a missile defence system in Europe would "fundamentally alter the continent's geo-strategic landscape," Russia's foreign minister said in an article published on Wednesday.

• U.S. military develops Robocop armour for soldiers <- FEATURE!!!
  We may have seen it all before in science-fiction films. But the bionic warrior is in fact a vision of real-life warfare in the 21st century. U.S. defence chiefs hope to have their troops kitted out in the outlandish combat gear as soon as 2020.

• Schoolchildren to be Fingerprinted in Big Brother-style Shake-Up <- FEATURE!!!
  Critics say it is part of a 'softening-up' exercise to condition children to accept a creeping surveillance society. They also point to the danger of identity theft, if hackers manage to access school databases.

  A new report published by a Hindu foundation is blasting Christian organizations across the nation, including the Southern Baptists' missions board, Gospel for Asia and the Minnesota-based Olive Tree Ministries, which aims its ministry at teaching Christians about their beliefs, for having so called Internet "hate sites."

• Doctors and faith <- FEATURE!!!
  A majority of American doctors believe God or another supernatural being intervenes in patients' health, a study has found. And nearly two in five doctors believe religion and spirituality can help prevent bad outcomes such as heart attacks, infections and even death, according to the University of Chicago nationwide survey of 2,000 physicians.

• Scientists confirm global flood in times of Noah <- FEATURE!!! [DUH, I could've told them THAT! <grins>]
  The story of the Flood is a Biblical story about the universal deluge as recorded in Genesis. Some people regard it as a myth. However, many scientists believe the Flood did occur in days of Noah. Scientists point out numerous traces of the flooding still existent in various parts of the globe. They also believe that the salt-water lakes scattered around the land thousands kilometers away from a shoreline are the remainders of Noah's Flood.

• Tel Aviv Terror attack foiled <- FEATURE!!! [Go, Father Yahweh!!!]
  A major suicide attack on Tel Aviv was prevented this Passover, as Shin Bet and IDF forces arrested 19 Hamas members in the West Bank city of Qalqilya for planning to detonate a car bomb containing some 220 lbs of explosives, it was cleared for publication on Tuesday.

  A new type of influenza vaccine may make some people buggy. Researchers are using insect cells instead of eggs to manufacture a new flu vaccine.

Cancer -

• Easier Surgery for Lung Cancer <- FEATURE!!!
  A smaller incision and less trauma during surgery may make it possible for lung cancer patients to receive more chemotherapy. Patients who are eligible for this type of procedure may have a better chance of beating their cancer, according to a surgeon from Duke University Medical Center.

Cardiovascular -

• Heart Failure & Sleep Apnea: a Deadly Combo <- FEATURE!!!
  Researchers from Toronto General Hospital and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute in Canada followed 164 patients with heart failure for seven years and found those suffering from obstructive sleep apnea were two-times more likely to die from the condition than their apnea-free counterparts. In the study, only 76 percent of the 34 patients who went untreated for sleep apnea survived the study, while 88 percent of the 113 apnea-free patients lived.
