A new study also revealed that non-Hispanic blacks have better hearing on average compared to non-Hispanic whites and Hispanic adults in the United States, and that women tend to have better hearing than men.)

• Israel's Olmert Meets With Blair (Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert flew to London on Sunday for talks aimed at seeking a strong European stand against the Hamas-led Palestinian government and Iran's nuclear programme.)
