OH: Episcopalians pass compromise resolution calling for restraint
Resolution A161, effecting a moratorium on the ordination of
homosexual bishops and the blessing of homosexual unions, failed in
the House of Deputies on Tuesday, threatening alienation of the
Episcopal Church from the worldwide Anglican Communion. In a last
ditch effort to save Episcopalian-Anglican relations, Presiding
Bishop Frank Griswold convened a Special Legislative session on
Wednesday morning, calling on Bishops and Deputies to consider an
emergency resolution, number B033, that would express what the
convention "actually" believed.

While I don't like to cast stones as I am a lowly sinner saved only
by the grace of God myself, I reasoned to myself at that time, based
on yet another obstacle arising in the case of Eugene Robinson that
should prevent him from holding his office, that the Episcopal
Church would take a look at what was already a pitiful decision on
its part and say, "Enough!" I was wrong. As such, the good
bishop Eugene Robinson, an abandoner of his wife and children, an
apostate, and an alcoholic continues to make a mockery of the Word
of God while feigning as a representative of the Christian faith.

Closed Door Of Revelation

They did a recent survey of professing Christians and found that an
alarming rate of Christians today are not attending church anywhere.
You can read into that what you want and most look at it as a
negative. I'm not saying that Christians need to stay home and not
attend church. But I will say this. When you look at that survey on
the surface one would conclude that these believers are people who
are lazy, backslidden perhaps, lethargic, etc. But when you start
reading the reasons why Christians are not attending church you
realize that the problem lies in the fact that most who don't attend
church are not attending church because of spiritual reasons but
because there is not many churches left where the presence of GOD
can be found in a true way.
