Truly, we now are living in the time foretold by our Saviour. Everywhere we look we are seeing wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, pestilences, and many other signs in heaven and on earth. Here let it be noted that the real problem is not global warming, but rather global sinning. Judgment will always eventually follow sins and abominations -- either sooner or later! One example that I made reference to in a recent newsletter was the massive flooding and destruction by water in Gloucestershire, England, this past summer. It happened in the very area where the Harry Potter witchcraft films were made and just after the latest movie in that series was released. Pictures of the flooding were shocking as the damage was so widespread and severe. But that was not the end of the problem. A British newspaper, The Metro, reported on August 21st, 2007, that Britain had been invaded by a deadly mosquito in that region of Gloucestershire, where the clay soil made the flood waters look very red, like diluted blood. These were no ordinary mosquitoes but a breed that transmits twenty-three infections; some of them are deadly.
