Death
Is Not the End
Death
is not the end of life,
in fact, it’s life anew,
if you’re in Christ the Savior,
and the Spirit lives in you.
It’s
the start of better things,
no tears, no hurt, no strife,
no illness, pain or cares
that weight us down in life.
Gazing
on the sovereign God,
joy and peace forevermore;
stepping from constraints of time
through Heaven’s Open Door.
We
need not fear mortal death,
it beats this life, for sure!
Perfection is what God has planned
for those who can endure.

Therefore,
being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the
body we are absent from the Lord--for we walk by faith, not by sight--we are
of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be
at home with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8
