Draw
near to God, He’ll draw near to you,
He’s but a prayer away.
He’s a beacon in our times of strife,
our light by night and day.
Cleanse
your hearts, you know you’re a sinner,
and purify your hearts.
Humble yourselves in God’s presence,
now is the time to start!
Don’t
speak against your brethren,
for that is not your place.
There is but one Lawgiver and Judge,
to us He gives His grace.
You’re
just a vapor, here for a while,
then you vanish away.
But the Lord’s our eternal Father,
He’s in our hearts to stay.
