As Cutting Edge has repeatedly stated over and over again, there will be NO attack on Iran. That country is protected by the "Magog Invasion" prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39, because it is listed as one of the countries marching with Russia during the attack on Israel. Furthermore, Russian leadership right now is protected by the same prophecy, because Russia is foretold to be the leader and commander of the invasion force. If Western military technology defeats Russian military technology in an attack on Iran right now, no leader of any nation foretold in Ezekiel 38-39 to march with Russia will have the confidence that Russia can defeat Israel. Therefore, there will be NO attack on Iran, no matter who is President.
Ayatollah Khamenei's Jet Checked, Iran Supreme Leader May Flee To Russia If Necessary (UPDATED)
Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei could flee to Russia should the situation in his country continue to spiral out of control, according to Radio Netherlands. The media organization reports that the Supreme National Security Council ordered a check-up Sunday of the jet on standby to evacuate Khamenei and his family should the need arise. If Khamenei does depart the country, it would be reminiscent of an historic event in Iranian history: Jan. 16, 1979, when the Iranian Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlevi fled Iran following an increase in violent protests. The anniversary of that event is coming up soon.
Iran FM: West has 1 month, or we'll make our own nuclear fuel
Iran warned on Saturday the West has until the end of the month to accept Teheran's counterproposal to a UN-drafted plan on a nuclear exchange, or the country will start producing nuclear fuel on its own. The warning was a show of defiance and a hardening in Iran's stance over its controversial nuclear program, which the West fears masks an effort to make nuclear weapons.
Make Way For The Kings Of The East: Behold The Waking Dragon
Historians may someday debate whether the financial crisis that began a year ago is most notable for how much damage it did to the United States, or how little it inflicted on the world’s major rising power, China. Helped by huge state intervention and buoyant optimism almost surreally undiminished by the crisis of confidence across the Pacific, China has had a very good downturn. It is closing the gap with the world’s most developed economies faster than anticipated and could overtake Japan as the world’s second-largest economy when the final figures for last year are tallied.
The Persian Protest - Is Regime Change Coming To Iran?
Recently an Iranian – American friend named Amil Imani called me and directed my attention to his important article post regarding the protesters push for a regime change in Iran. Amil is a widely respected expert when it comes to understanding the present problematic political predicament ongoing inside Iran. A quick visit to his website, which has had over one and a quarter-million visitors, authenticates his qualifications... However, my concern is that time is not on the side of a regime change in Iran. Furthermore, since an Israeli pre-emptive strategic strike against Iran’s nuclear sites could be forthcoming, it grieves me to think that your good natured Iranian compatriots, openly opposing the Khamanei – Ahmadinejad regime, could collectively ultimately turn against Israel.
Vladimir Putin calls for more weapons to stop America doing 'whatever it wants'
Russia needs more weapons to punch through America’s new missile defence shield, Vladimir Putin said yesterday in blunt remarks that will complicate efforts to cut the nuclear arsenals of the former Cold War rivals. The Russian Prime Minister, reasserting himself as the country’s real ruler, said that Moscow should press ahead with a new generation of weapons to stop the Americans doing “whatever they want”. “To preserve the balance we must develop offensive weapons systems, not missile defence systems as the United States is doing,”
