The Good Samaritan
(Luke 10:30-37)

A man was robbed and beaten,
and left by the road one day.
A priest came by and saw him,
but he just went on his way.

Likewise, a Levite saw him,
but left him where he lay;
he just didn’t want to be bothered
by a needy soul that day.

 Then a Samaritan saw him,
and felt sorry for the man;
and thought, “I need to help,
and do whatever I can.”

He patched his wounds, took him to an inn,
and paid for his room & board.
“Who of these 3 were neighbors?
Do the same thing,” says the Lord.

This is how you treat others,
show them God’s true love.
And the Lord will smile down on you,
from His throne in Heaven above!
