Chapter 35

What to Do When You Feel Dissatisfied

'For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants;

Isaiah 44:3

The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.

Psalm 34:10

A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his words, and the deeds of a man's hands will return to him.

Proverbs 12:14

I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.  

Philippians 4:12-13

O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; my soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.  Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Trust in YHWH and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.

For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.
