Chapter 53

What to Do When You Are Deserted by Loved Ones

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Psalm 9:10

For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but Yahweh will take me up.

For Yahweh will not abandon His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.

Psalm 94:14

I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread.

"Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
