How I Met Richard Markland
(by Peggy McIlveene)

I met Richard Markland about 2 years ago, while searching for items to include on my Signs of the Times pages.  I searched the Internet, and one of the first places it took me was Richard website. I was scrolling down through the various items there, and I ran across a note from him, near the bottom of his page, which said that he wouldn't be updating as often as before, because his wife had terminal cancer.  I immediately contacted him and asked how she was doing at that time. He said that she seemed to have been healed of it, and was visiting her sister in Dallas.  Then, not long after, her final ordeal began (it went on for almost 2 years!).  Richard, know that you have made MANY friends in Christ since Linda became ill, and that we love you like a brother, and Linda like a sister.  Our hearts ache for you, and we pray that Yahweh will comfort you as only He can do.  We are here for you, and want to hear from you as you feel up to it.  If you would like to share poems you have written for Linda, or anything else, please let me know, and I will be only to happy to post them on this page! Until we meet in the air, I am here for you! The flowers on the background are to remind you of your little flower, Linda. Linda passed away at 2:30 a.m., April 1, 2005.

Your eternal sister in Christ!
