And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. (James 5:15)

12 Tips to Treat Colds and Flu the "Natural" Way

Herb: Green Tea (click for details)

My Usage:  (Diana's words) Green tea can keep your immune system strong to ward off colds and flu.  I drink it every day up to 4 cups a day and rarely get sick anymore when I used to always get sick.  I just use Lipton's green tea and steep it for about 30 minutes before drinking.  A lot of people don't like it's taste, but you can get used to it if you try.

Herb: Echinacea (click for details)

My Usage:  (Diana's words) Echinacea is an excellent herb to use if you are starting to get a cold or flu.  If used at the very start of illness, it will, in most cases, cure it before the end of the day, or by the next day.  I don't use store bought though.  I grow my own and it is far superior to any I have found in the store.  I make a tincture of it every summer for my winter use.  I have dramatically cut down on it's use however, since I have been drinking my green tea. :-)  Vitamin C works very well in combination with the Echinacea.
