Israel's successes, however, come from the Living G-d. The Jewish soldier must make the necessary preparations and not rely on miracles; yet, he must know that salvation comes from G-d. Thus, we find in the Torah that "The L-rd is a Man of War." (Exodus, 15:3)

Posted 8/2/06The New Jew
There seems to be a swell in the interest of Israelis in Judaism. People talk about Bible and religion like never before, and there are abundant indications for it. For the unfamiliar reader, it needs to be clarified that for two centuries, Jews don't like their religion for the same reasons Christians grew to dislike their religion. However, within the last 10 or 15 years, Israelis have begun to ask, "If our secular values are so marvelous, how is it that crime and corruption have become so rampant?"

Israel is a secular state that causes people to think of Israelis as atheists. However, as a recent poll has shown, this is not the case. The poll was conducted in October by Ynet – the most popular Israeli internet newspaper. According to Ynet,* over 40,000 people answered several questions regarding God, religion and Israel.

When renowned novelist David Grossman spoke at the annual commemoration of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination, much of the reaction to his harsh criticism of the government focused on the fact that he is a far left-winger. Grossman’s son Uri died in the Lebanon War last summer, further fueling his words. Posted 4/4/07Will The Real Moshiach Please Stand Up
Recently there has been a wave of excitement rushing throughout Israel, and across the Internet to the far parts of the western world regarding a revelation from Israel's oldest and most revered Kabalistic Rabbi Yitzakh Kaduri ( Rabbi Kaduri Passed Away on January 28th, 2006). The revelation is basically this. Before he died he said that he had recently met the Messiah. He told his disciples that he would leave a written note with the mystery code of the identity of the Messiah written out. And he had them promise that this note was not to be opened until one year after his death.
