YHWH's Love of Israel
When YHWH shall build up Tsiyon [Zion], He shall appear in His esteem. (Psalm 102:16)
Thus says YHWH, Who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; YHWH of hosts is His name: "If this fixed order departs from before Me," declares YHWH, "Then the offspring of Yisra'el also will cease from being a nation before Me forever." (Jeremiah 31:35-36)
For thus says YHWH of hosts, "After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye. (Zechariah 2:8)
