UPDATE: Israel's Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, suddenly resigned!

NEWS BRIEF: "Reluctant Olmert says he'll resign in 7-8 weeks", Miami Herald, July 31, 2008

"JERUSALEM -- Embattled Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced Wednesday that he will resign in September, bringing a premature end to his hopes of leading Israel into a stable era of peace with its Arab neighbors. Facing a deepening political corruption investigation, Olmert said he would step aside when his ruling Kadima Party chooses a new leader in seven to eight weeks. Olmert made it clear that he was reluctantly stepping aside because the expanding corruption allegations had undermined his ability to lead the nation."

When corruption charges exploded against PM Olmert months ago, his supporters accused Conservative political leaders of forcing these charges against him because of their opposition to his "give-away" policies of planning to create a Palestinian State and to give the Golan Heights back to Syria.

Whether these charges are true, or false, the fact is that the plan to create a Palestinian State out of the tiny nation of Israel may be in trouble -- at least enough trouble that such a State could not be created by the time President Bush leaves office January 20, 2009.

However, three candidates completely in tune with the Illuminati Plan are waiting expectantly in the wings to replace Olmert as Prime Minister.

NEWS BRIEF: "Candidates who could succeed Ehud Olmert as Israel's PM", The Guardian (London), July 31, 2008

"In September the ruling Kadima party will choose a leader to replace Olmert. There are two strong candidates, but with national elections likely to be only months away many observers believe the eventual winner will come from the opposition."

* Tzipi Livni -- Currently Olmert's Foreign Minister

"Considered frontrunner to lead Kadima. A Knesset member for 10 years, she abandoned Likud to support Ariel Sharon's decisions to evacuate Israeli troops from Gaza and set up Kadima. She has won the backing of Sharon's inner circle in her bid for the top job. "

Livni is the only woman trying to replace Olmert. While she certainly has acted tough in her role as Foreign Minister, she would continue to project weakness to Islamic strategists who are just waiting for the right moment to attack and annihilate Israel. Since the debacle known as the Lebanon War of 2006, the Israeli government has projected weakness again and again to their implacable Islamic enemy.

* Shaul Mofaz - Formerly the IDF Chief of Staff

General Mofaz would certainly be the wise choice for Olmert's successor. He is tough and pragmatic and would face the Islamic enemy with a clear, unwavering vision.

Mofaz has also served the American interests well regarding Iran's supposed grave threat of her nuclear weapons program. Just a few weeks ago, when crude oil prices were heading downward, Mofaz sparked a 9% increase in just one day as he stated that Israel would have to attack Iran if America did not. Later statements from him "clarified" his position that any Israeli attack would have to be coordinated with the U.S. Given strong CFR opposition to an attack on Iran, Israel would likely not attack; but, Mofaz's statements could be used as an excuse to keep crude oil prices high.

* Binyamin Netanyahu - Former Prime Minister and current head of the "Conservative" Likud Party.

He "would most likely win a general election, with polls for several months highlighting his popularity."

Arabs view him as the "middle of the road" candidate -- not as Liberal and weak as Livni, but not as Conservative and tough as Mofaz.

No matter who ascends to Prime Minister to replace Olmert, the next PM will continue to follow the script laid out for them by the Illuminati -- most notably by the Bilderberger Group.
