The
King Died In My Place
I
was just telling a dear sister of mine that I wrote this song
especially for Yeshua in 2003. I always wanted someone to put it
to music for me, but no one, not even my Richard and his beautiful
songs, ever felt led to do it. I told Richard that I'll bet
since I wrote this for Yeshua, He wants ME to sing it to Him when we
meet face to face! I pray He loves it as much as I love
Him! Peggy
As
I stand before the Throne,
and see Him face to face,
there will be no condemnation,
for Christ died in my place.
CHORUS
His
blood was shed in agony,
pain etched in His face.
My sins were washed away,
yes, the King died in my place!
My
sins will be as snow then,
all due to His grace;
sanctified by His sweet blood,
the King died in my place.
When
He calls me to Him,
and finally we embrace,
I’ll tell Him, “Thank You, Jesus,
for dying in my place!”

anyone does, please let me know, and I will give him credit!
