OK, folks, this is Father Yahweh's irony at its best! Richard has a coworker, Ben, who is planning to retire and begin his own business. He's also a brother in the Lord. Therefore, the Lord had to wait until things were all set up for Ben's good as well as Richard's. Ben has the 3-11 PM shift, Monday-Friday, weekends off. Richard has 2 nights a week of graveyard shift, and weekend 7 AM-3 PM every week. Which means we have NO weekends together any more since I also work a full-time, Monday-Friday job. So Richard has been hoping that Father Yahweh will allow him to get Ben's shift whenever he retires, even though another coworker, Billy, has been there longer. So we began praying about 3 months ago that Father Yahweh would consider letting Richard get that shift if it would be best for Him; and if not, that he could keep his current shift. The other option would be graveyard shift, Monday-Friday, and he couldn't physically handle that, nor could I deal with it very well at all. Well, Richard started thinking they may decide to give him a hard time about taking the graveyard shift (which Billy now has) and giving Billy the 3-11 shift. Richard has numerous times told his boss he can't physically handle it, and WON'T handle it, but that doesn't mean Mario wouldn't try anyway. Richard told the Lord that he was going to sign up with the Employment Work Force again for a Monday-Friday job in the same city he now works in, which is only 20 minutes from home. So Monday he did exactly that. By Tuesday, he'd already received a call (same LITTLE city in which he currently works) for a job the lady thinks would be perfect for him, Monday-Friday, no weekend work unless he requests it... and here's the clencher... 3-11 shift!!! And all of this happening in our current economic conditions! Now if his company gives him a hard time, all he has to do is take the other job, though he would prefer to stay where he is. Chances are, since there will only be three security guards to divide up all the work time until they hire someone else, if Richard wasn't there either, the remaining two would be having to work 12 hours/day, 7 days/week! He should know by Thursday what his current company plans to do! We've asked the Lord to lead him, so whatever happens is what is best for Richard. Yeah, Father, we love You!!!

Richard come home from work around 3:15 yesterday, and he wanted to make us some banana pudding, which takes 4 ripe bananas and 6 cups of milk (to make the pudding). He asked me if I thought we had enough milk, and I told him I doubted it, because all we had was a partial half gallon, and we needed enough to take our pills with in the morning (he takes a full coffee cup's worth of milk, and I take about 1/3 of a cup). He decided to see how close we could get, so he first poured both our cups of milk to make sure we'd have enough. Then he got our 2 cup measure down, and I want you to know, we had EXACTLY 6 cups left... not one bit more, nor one bit less, but 6 cups! And guess how many bananas we had left? Yep, FOUR! I almost ate one yesterday, but decided not to! Only with Father Yahweh!
