A
Modern-Day Christmas
It's
a modern-day Christmas,
It
just seems so wrong.
No
signs of Jesus,
In decoration or song.
It's
an agnostic Christmas.
And
where is the fruit?
When
we have the ACLU,
Wearing Santa's red suit.
It's
a modern-day Christmas.
Don't
dare mention what's true.
As
the colors of Christmas,
Fades from green into blue.
A
sorrowful Christmas.
Where
the court battles rage.
Our
sons and daughters are silenced,
They can't sing of Jesus on stage.
A
Hannukkah Christmas.
Where
the menorah stands tall.
And
what I see in the window,
Is no Cross at all.
A
modern-day Christmas.
That's
truly man-made.
They
can't even say "Christmas"
In the holiday parade.
A
manger-free Christmas.
We
can't be offensive they say.
But
even if the Lord fades,
I will still always pray.
This
blasphemous Christmas,
Just
tears me apart.
But
even if I can't see Him,
He's still in my heart.
I
bow to you Jesus.
In
a world of dismay.
And
in Your new Kingdom,
It
shall be Christmas everyday.
