The practice of abortion
just makes me ill to see...
what would the world have been like
if Mom had aborted me?

I would have never had the chance
to serve God in my life,
or hold my own sweet babies close,
or be my husband's wife.

I never would have had the chance
to help someone in need,
or to reach out to the lonely,
and be their friend indeed.

Or to make a difference
to someone who needs my love,
or to offer them my comfort,
or to praise the Lord above.

I would not have had the chance
to hope and dream and give,
if Mom had chosen that option
and denied my right to live.
