Riley) The Word of the Lord contains hidden truths that are only revealed at the time the Lord wants them revealed. They are often hidden right in plain sight in the Scriptures that men read every day. Riley) I believe there is only appropriate place to begin this study, for everything that I will write about in this study has occurred, or is occurring, in only one Biblically specified “generation.”

Things I'm particularly thankful for in 2007:

• On December 30, 2006, my Richard had his third open-heart surgery (quadruple).  His first was in February 1997 (he had his first of MANY heart attacks and other serious physical ailments on Valentine's Day that year, which was the year after we met.  It was a long, tough struggle back.  He was in a coma for 7 days from the latest surgery, very close to death, had a spiritual battle with Satan during that time in which Satan tried to persuade him that he was dead and in Hell with him.  He was in the hospital nearly a MONTH!!! He came home on January 11, 2007... two days before his 54th birthday.  Click HERE to read the full story.  In around June 2007, the Lord began showing him that he was on the wrong medication.  He'd been on Metoprolol (high blood pressure medicine) for about 8 years.  After his December 2006 surgery, he began developing allergic reactions to it.  Metoprolol has some really SERIOUS side effects, which he began developing one right after the other.  For one thing, it appears our Father totally healed his heart this time, so he didn't need strong dosages of blood pressure medicine, which he'd been on all that time, so it began bringing his blood pressure WAY too low.  Metoprolol can also give you VERY low blood sugar to where you can develop hypoglycemia, which he did.  Since Father Yahveh showed him the correct BP medicine, and the correct dosage, he's been feeling pretty good... HALLELUYAH!!!

• He also provided extra money and Richard's newfound health to allow Richard to do a LOT of work on our home this year.  When we moved in 2.5 years ago, it was a "shell" home, that had sat vacant for about 5 years, so Richard had to do everything from the ground, up by himself, as money became available and his health continued improving.

• May 25, 2007 made my 12th year of working for the same company, which these days is phenomenal!  I love my bosses and their families dearly, as well as my coworkers in other locations, and our clients, and enjoy my job as an Executive Secretary.  It is a 3-hour/day drive, but the Lord gave me a wonderful vehicle to replace my totaled Neon with (an HHR), which has an MP3 player in it, so Richard is able to make VERY large CD's for me to listen to!  Each CD in MP3 format will hold approximately 125 songs, or 12+ hours of audio files.  I wish my company would move closer to my home, but as it stands, at least I am used to the drive, and fairly comfortable with it, for which I am grateful to Him!

• On June 2, 2007, I reached one full year smoke free after 35 years of heavy smoking!!!  Click HERE to read full story, or for help with quitting if you are a smoker.

• On June 6, 2007, I totaled my Neon.  Click HERE to see photos of the car, and to read the full story.  It was nothing short of a miracle that I survived this accident with NO internal injuries and that I walked out of the car on my own accord alive!!!

• In September 2007, the Lord removed a thorn from our side once and for all, and repaired our relationships with my family, which had been severely tested as a result of this woman's lies and deceit. For this we are both extremely grateful to the Lord!!!

• He gave me 12 wonderful relaxing days of vacation to spend with my Richard!  We spent most of our time watching movies that we had recorded on DVDs, went grocery shopping a few times, and otherwise just spent time relaxing together, talking, and just loving each other.  For this I thank You, Father!

• MANY of my special friends (all of them brothers & sister in Yahshua as well) quit smoking in 2006 and 2007, for which I am grateful... Judy Hamilton and I quit in 2006; Linda Benson, Terri Lofton, and Anthony quit in 2007... HalleluYAH!!!

• He brought MANY new friends into my life, and continued wonderful relationships with our existing friends and family.  Thank You, Father!

• May Yahshua return SOON to take us Home! Love to you in Him!
