Obadiah Prophecy

The Bush Administration is using both the State Department and the Pentagon to urge a division of the capital city of Jerusalem! In other words, it is not enough to take biblical land away from Israel to give to the Palestinians -- The Gaza Strip and The West Bank -- but now the holy city of Jerusalem is on the auction block!

"I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them for their treatment of My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and because they have divided My land." (Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
God's Omniscience was clearly on display as far back as 770 B.C. when He penned this prophecy through the prophet, Joel (The New Analytical Bible, John A. Dickson Publishing, 1964, p. 1022).
In other words, God foretold 2,777 years ago that, at the End of the Age, Gentile leaders would be dividing the land of Israel! What a demonstration of the power and the Omniscience of Almighty God! What a faith-building fulfillment of prophecy, as today, we see Gentile leaders of the world cooperating with the Apostate leaders of Israel to divide the Biblical land which God gave Abraham forever.
Remember, though, that we believe this dividing of the land is a most temporary strategic withdrawal by Israel, for soon after the Palestinian State is established, Israel plans on carrying out the awful, despicable genocide foretold in Obadiah 15-18 (NEWS2095).
