On to the next Pope...
by Mike Mickey, April 10, 2005
What have we dialogued concerning the last few days in our e-mailings? How many more Popes there are going to be! As if we requested it directly from him, Hal Lindsey has spelled it all out for us in his latest commentary.
The prophecy concerning the 111th pope says of him, "Gloria Olivae," which means "the glory of the Olive." Could it be that he will be from the Order of Saint Benedict, also known as the Olivetans? Could he be an African, a continent symbolized by the olive tree?
If there is any truth whatsoever that St. Malachy predicted all the Popes there would be until the return of Christ, there will be the one about to be named and then - at last- the final Pope, who will rule the Catholic Church up to the return of Christ!
Hal additionally writes the following (PLEASE NOTE THIS):
If any of this is true, then I suspect that the 111th pope will not live very long. We are just too close to the final events before Christ's return for him to reign for a long period.
The prophetic scenario is falling into place so dramatically there are times when I'm simply overwhelmed by the sense that Christ's return for the Church is at hand! As Hal Lindsey's commentary illustrates, I'm far from alone in my suspicions - one of the many reasons I'm sounding the alert that Jesus Christ is coming soon!
