Pinto Sausage Stew

½ lb. Polish sausage, cut into ¼” slices
2 15-oz. cans pinto beans
2 med. onions, chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
½ cup picante sauce
1 med. green pepper, cut into ¾” pieces
1 t. chili powder
½ t. ground cumin
1 t. crushed oregano


Combine all ingredients; bring to boil.  Cover and simmer 20 minutes.  Top with additional picante.  
MAKES ABOUT 6 CUPS stew.
