words) Please pray for my friends son Jeremy, 21, who tried to kill himself
last night. He is not a Christian but his mother is.
Update:
(Tina's words) Thank you ALL for
your prayers. Jeremy was actually put into a padded cell and
wasn't allowed visitors for a while because he had tried to get out of
the psychiatric unit. It certainly seemed more like a prison than
a place to heal. I sent your email Peggy to his mother so she
would know that a lot of Christians were praying for her son. It
was rumoured that they were going to keep him for the full month
(legally they cannot hold him longer than that). She phoned me
crying and I reminded her that we were all praying for a positive
outcome. Hallelujah, Jesus is Lord, Jeremy was suddenly released
yesterday. His psychiatrist agreed that the psychiatric ward
wasn't the place for him and he put him on medication and will see him
again in 10 days.......what a miracle........He even said to his mother
that he had a guardian angel........Please continue to pray for his
salvation.........Bless you all and I will keep you updated.

am sending this on as an update to the situation with Casey and his
battle with this dreaded disease. Just to cover this from the get
go, Casey is doing well thus far and they have changed the gauze several
times now. So far there are no additional infections, nor is there
apparent evidence that they did not get all of it. Praise the
Lord! We are not out of the woods yet and there is a long ways to
go, but praise God for his protection thus far. The wound is still
open and will be for some time to ensure they got it all. I am
unsure as to the amount of time this will take but will update you if
anything changes I
have learned a lot in the last few days about this bacteria and hearing
that this new strain of bacteria is now killing more people in the
USA
than HIV is simply staggering. I have also learned that what Casey
has is not simply the necrotizing fasciitus(Flesh Eating bacterium), it
is the MRSA drug resistant bacterium aka “methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus aureu. According to scientists, MRSA is striking
31.8 out of every 100,000 Americans, which translates to 94,360 cases
and 18,650 deaths nationwide. In comparison, complications from the AIDS
virus killed about 12,500 Americans in 2005. The infection is most
common among African Americans and the elderly, but also commonly
strikes very young children. So to say this is severe is an
understatement… Thank
you to all that have responded and please continue to pray for Casey and
his family as they go through this most difficult time. When I hear
anything new, I will most certainly put it out there, but for now things
are looking as best as we could hope for…
Update:
(John's words) Awesome news everyone. As most of you know, Casey,
Kyle’s son, has been receiving treatment for this MRSA Flesh eating
bacteria. As I stated in my earlier e-mails, this bacteria
apparently does not respond to any known medicines/antibiotics. The
doctors simply had to hope they had cut all the infected tissue out.
Otherwise they would have to continue removing tissue surgically
until they eliminated all of it. As you will see in the e-mail
from his Uncle below, it seems that they did, in fact, get all of it on
the first go around and Casey is making a full recovery… Praise
the Lord!!! Thanks to everyone who prayed over this young man…

who is terminally ill, has already collected 100+ from the Thunderbirds
and has a collection of nearly 18,000 plus cards - he is trying to reach

(Darla/Ed's words) The latest on Aaron is that he has a Schwannoma
tumor on the Vegus nerve and Dr. Zadansky in Chapel Hill wants to remove
it before it grows into the brain stem or chest area. This is a very
rare tumor for an adult to have let alone a child,and it's in a very
rare area. Jason asked where they could take Aaron for the surgery, as
in who has done the most and is the best surgeon, and bottom line is
there have only been a handful of these surgeries done and Dr. Zadansky
is as good as any! Before surgery is scheduled Dr. Zadansky wants a
third opinion from a Dr. at Baptist Hospital and if this Dr. agrees with
all the findings to date they will then schedule surgery. Right now
Chapel Hill is trying to get this third opinion moved up from the
current date of July 29th. They will not know until they get inside if
this growth is on the side of the nerve or surrounding the mass. Aaron
asked his mommy why God hadn't taken this away from him? Her answer was
that she didn't know but that maybe because God knows how brave he is
that one day down the road there will be another little boy or girl who
has this same tumor and they can call Aaron and he can tell them it's

for Aaron's mail but Jason and Gina could use all the strength,love and
support we all can give them.

He has an inoperable brain tumor. It is at the base of his skull,
the brain stem and spinal cord are involved. The tumor itself has
nerves over it so they can't biopsy it without damaging/killing him. He
has the best team of doctors working with him and they feel they can
