Nature:  (Sue's words) My friend Mary and her fiancé need urgent prayer right now. Darrell sent a prayer request out for them a few days ago. They live in different states. She has not heard from him in over a week now and is frantic with worry. He usually calls her at least once a week and it has been about 9 days now. There are details that I can't really go into but she asks that we pray that he is alright and will contact her today. She also asks that we pray that God will work out a situation that could be devastating to the two of them if God does not intervene soon. She said she is trying to stay strong and is reading the prayer of Jabez several times a day as it gives her comfort and encouragement. I am really worried about what this situation is doing to her emotionally. So please ask everyone to pray for a miracle for Mary!!! She said to thank everyone in advance and she is trusting God for a miracle!!!  

Update:  (Sue's words) Mary called and said she spent last night on her knees before God begging for an answer. Today she and Dave got their answer!!!! She was so excited she could barely talk!!!! So God has answered!!!! Keep them in prayer still that all will go smoothly from here out!!!!

Nature:  Tommy & Shelly are going through seriously hard financial times right now.  Tommy is in a job 1.5 hours from home that he HATES, and Shelly has been laid off for about 2 months now.  Tommy is looking for work closer to their home (he is a Title Supervisor), and Shelly is looking for work close to home.  Today she is signing up with an employment agency for FULL-TIME work, probably as a clerk, receptionist or secretary.  If anyone lives in the Kingwood, TX area, and knows of jobs that might be good for these two, please let me know. Their Internet was cut off yesterday, and they need it in order to be able to look for work and email resumes to companies.

Nature:  (Karen's words) Please pray for my son Craig today. My son lost his I.D., and needs it for a passport for his son, Jake, (12 years old), so he can go on vacation in Mexico. He needs to get it in time to be notarized, it may seem trivial, but if his son misses out on his vacation, I don't want him to blame his Dad and harbor bitterness. They have had a lot of turbulence in their relationship and this would only add to it! I know the enemy is trying to destroy their relationship... his mom is re-married and there is alot of tension, also, he is now being raised JW, and that really breaks my heart, because there is nothing I can do about it, except for prayer, of course! So that is why I covet your prayers, thank you sooo much!!!!

Nature:  (Wendy's words) Hello, I am happy to report that my depression does seem to be improving and I am finding it a little easier spiritually to get through each day. I need some prayer for my back and hip. I have a lot of pain there when I sit or stand too long and my job requires me to stand a lot (it is only a part time job but some days I am on my feet 3 hours straight) I know that my weight has a lot to do with the pain so I am embarking on the Lord's table diet. If the Lord tarries, I will start it on Friday. I need prayers for perseverance, for the pain to subside, and also job prayers as this part time job is a weekend only job and I need a 8-5 job soon. I really need to be working by August/September at the latest. I have applied through the county for an office position that pays $1800 a month which would be a Godsend (I don't pay rent and I live with my parents but I have a sizable debt from college that I need to pay off and I could help more with the rising cost of living.) It is so important I lose weight so that I can work and also to see if my issues are more serious than extra weight on the joints. I can't get doctors to take me seriously right now because they all say it is my weight. I am sure they are mostly right and at any case an extra 100 pounds is bound to exacerbate any condition. I think getting a job could help me right now also with waiting on Jesus. We all know time flies quicker when we are busy! Of course I would much rather be raptured and work by praising the Lord in heaven but I think I might have enough patience to wait until Rosh Hashanah but I pray we are gone even before then, but not my will but His.

He is asking for the Lord to Bless him and his wife with Peace and more Faith during this difficult time and a good job with benefits.

He is married and has a Hispanic woman for a wife and a baby to take care of. She is illegal in this country, but we love her and have hired an attorney to help keep her here until she is able to obtain citizenship.
