These prayer requests are sent to me by fellow believers who realize the power of prayer. As Christians it is our charge, as instructed by our Lord, to "Pray for One Another". He tells us that as born again believers, whatever we ask for in His name, shall be given to us. Please join us in praying for the needs of our brothers and sisters in Jesus! If you have a request, you can submit it to us using the button near the bottom of the page. We update this list daily, so lets all use this power of prayer!  On this page, we will be praying for loved ones and friends who are trying to break addictions. I personally know how hard this can be. In 2002, with the Lord's help, I broke a 30-year drinking habit; then on 6/2/06, I smoked my last cigarette, after smoking for 35 years!!! It's difficult to break ANY habit, but it's absolutely impossible without our Father's help!  Please ask the Spirit to lead you in prayer for all these people. My dedications to the Lord:

Nature:  (Robin's words) My husband's niece had a very good high profile job in a bigger city for about a year, then suddenly she moved back and has a real bad cocaine habit.  She totaled her car recently - amazingly was not killed.  Please pray for her deliverance from drugs and a reunion with the Lord.

Update:  (Robin’s words) THANK YOU EVERY ONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS !! My cousin's daughter came home yesterday,  the one that that woman had brainwashed to move away from her parents. There's no way to tell you all everything that happened and went on,  but just know that this is an ABSOLUTE MIRACLE FROM THE LORD that this happened,   and we all thank you so much for your prayers and petitions to the Lord on her behalf. Please continue to keep this family in your prayers as they work through the hurts and issues - and that the Lord will continue to draw them closer to HIM every day !!

Nature:  (Lisa's words) My name is Lisa and i am an 18 year old girl who is having issues with smoking.  I don't smoke but my father does.  We are a Christian family and i always feel i can go to my father for advice and knowledge about God.  For years I have been trying to convince my father to quit smoking.  I have told him all of the facts and effects of smoking on himself and the people around him that he loves.  To get to the point I need help.  I've tried almost everything but i know there has to be something else.  Would you be so kind to send me something powerful like from scripture or anything you think would help a christian man kick his disgusting habit.

Nature:  (Robin's words) My husband has not had a doctor in many years,  just has never been one to go to the doctor for every little thing. Well he retired in the spring and has had a few things going on and decided he may need to get a family doctor. He also has had a drinking problem for some years. From what he said,  this doctor is a really kind and compassionate person,  and evidently saw thru the facade that he has this problem,  but without arrogance and not wanting to embarrass him - he made some suggestions that he try to start reducing what he's drinking a little every few days. He would not even do any blood work yet,  because he said the results would be tainted at this time and he couldn't really make any suggestions or prescriptions with tainted results. Please pray that the Lord will help him  have the strength and courage to cut down and get through this so the doctor can continue to help him. I really believe he wants to get free from this.  Please pray the Lord will help me thru this too and be a help for him at this time. He has lost about 30 lbs in the last 6 - 9 months, The doctor did tell him to get a couple of over the counter vitamins and wants him to come back in 2 weeks,  with making real headway in cutting down on his drinking so they can do some bloodwork to determine how he is really doing.

• My sister Dianne (13 months older than me) & brother-in-law Leo.  Dianne's probably smoked close to 40 years.

• Aunt Gladys May Serres (Mama's sister, in her late 60's or early 70's) - She has chronic bronchitis (COPD); she's already had several stents put in her neck & legs, the arteries in her legs are still mostly clogged; and still continues to smoke.

• Aunt Beatrice (Mama's sister, late 70's) - She has had quite a few heart attacks/stents and several breathing episodes where she was rushed to the ER, and had two toes removed as a result of her diabetes, but still continues smoking.

• My GF & sister in Yahshua, Linda Benson (late 50's) - She catches colds, etc., way too often and has tightness in her chest.  Please pray for Yahweh's strength for her to quit. <- LINDA QUIT!!!

• My GF & sister in Yahshua, Terri Lofton (40's) - Her Mom has emphysema, but Terri still smokes. <- TERRI QUIT!!!

• My GF & sister in Yahshua, Judy Hamilton (50's) - Quit using Chantix; pray she will stay quit. <- JUDY'S BEEN QUIT FOR OVER A YEAR!!!

• My coworker, Verdette Hall (late 60's).
