of prayer. As Christians it is our charge, as instructed by our Lord, to
"Pray for One Another". He tells us that as born again
believers, whatever we ask for in His name, shall be given to us. Please

The following family & friends of mine
have quit smoking: My Richard, my stepson Josh, my daughter
Shelly, Judy Hamilton, Linda Benson, Terri Lofton (my three favorite
ex-smoking GFs), Anthony (our Security Guard), and my daughter Shelly's
mother-in-law Judy. Ofelia (my long-time email GF) quit also
(see 10/4 posting below). If you've
been able to give up a vice of your own, please let me know so I can
add your name to this list. My coworker
John Birch's wife JoAnn had quit, but has returned to smoking, as
has Shelly (my daughter). Please pray for strength for them to give
it up for good!

requesting. He is asking for prayer to be delivered from drugs and alcohol
additions, because it is destroying his life. Kevin is also homeless. I have
shared Christ with him via e-mail so please pray with me that he gives His
life to Jesus and for deliverance.

As a fellow brother in christ, please remember by real brother his name is
FRANCIS MUTISYA MUINDE he has been drinking Alcohol for the last 25 years and
any time he drinks his mouth is full of abusive words to his wife, children and
his father. He even says he will kill somebody. Please rebuke that
spirit on my behalf.

am asking you all as dear friends to please keep my brother in your
prayers. He has always been the "black sheep" of our family.
But - I believe he has deep psychological problems and the enemy has a
"hook" into him. He reads his Bible so much- he has such a
kind heart - but he is an alcoholic and does not seem to understand that
after de-toxing he cannot EVER drink alcohol again. Already, 2
weeks after de-tox he is drinking again and denies he has a
"problem". We live in Australia - he has been down with his
family for the last year but this Saturday returns to the Far North
where he witnesses to the Torres Strait Islander peoples. But who
can make an effective witness with a belly full of alcohol? - rather
this is a damaging form of witnessing. I feel it is time that
"Many" were praying for him - so I will thankfully ask you all
to assist. I love him very much - he would do anything for anybody
- and yet!!!

Dianne is going to a hypnotist (next week, I believe she said) to be
hypnotized to quit smoking. Dianne has been smoking for over 40 years
now, is a year older than I am (57), and can't eve walk up one flight of
stairs without having to gasp for breath. Please pray Yahshua's strength
on her in her endeavor. Incidentally, sha asked me to thank each of you.
She says that every prayer requests she's ever asked me to put on my
site for her and her loved ones has turned out beautifully... see how
wonderful our Father is, and how much He loves our prayers?

I hate it. It's not all the time but enough where I'm not liking what

Thank you for the diabetic receipes. Also I want to tell you back in
April I read what you wrote about smoking. I prayed on it, I had a
better understanding how praying was a big part. I had been smoking for
27 years, I quit in smoking on my drive to and from work for a month. In
the beginning of May, I quit all together, with just constant prayer.
And I mean constant prayer. Thank you for your encouragement. Your
rock sister, can't wait till we all meet in heaven and you'll meet Teresa.

My husband's niece had a very good high profile job in a bigger city for about
a year, then suddenly she moved back and has a real bad cocaine habit.
She totaled her car recently - amazingly was not killed. Please pray for
her deliverance from drugs and a reunion with the Lord.
Update:
(Robin’s words) THANK YOU EVERY ONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS !! My cousin's
daughter came home yesterday, the one that that woman had brainwashed to
move away from her parents. There's no way to tell you all everything
that happened and went on, but just know that this is an ABSOLUTE
MIRACLE FROM THE LORD that this happened, and we all thank you so
much for your prayers and petitions to the Lord on her behalf. Please continue
to keep this family in your prayers as they work through the hurts and issues
- and that the Lord will continue to draw them closer to HIM every day
!!

Christian family and i always feel i can go to my father for advice and
