He who dwells in the shelter
of the our precious God, Yahweh
will abide within His shadow,
each and every day.

 I will say to God, “My refuge & fortress,
it is in You I trust!”
You save me from the trapper’s snare,
and deadly pestilence.

You cover me with Your feathers,
safe under your wings I’ll stay.
You’re my shield and my protection,
evil will surely stay away.

I will not fear the terror by night
or the arrow that flies by day.
Nor the pestilence stalking in darkness;
noon destruction’s kept at bay.

A thousand may fall at the side of me,
ten thousand at my right.
But it shall not approach me, for
I’m safe within your might.

And the recompense of the wicked
I will see upon Your face.
For the Lord God is my refuge,
and He is my dwelling place.

No evil deeds will befall me,
nor a plague come near my home.
And I’ll be safe within Your arms
no matter where I roam.

You will have Your angels care for me,
and keep me safe from harm.
They will keep me safe and they will
bear me up within their arms.

He says because I call on Him,
He will deliver me.
and set me safely up on high;
I know His name, you see.

 So He’s promised me a long life,
and He’ll forsake me never.
And I will spend my days with Him

from now until forever
