Cold Bean Salad

(15-oz.) can green beans
1 lb. wax beans
1 (15-oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 onion, thinly sliced
¾ cup sugar
2/3 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
½ t. salt
½ t. ground black pepper
½ t. celery seed
Mix all ingredients together and let set in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. Makes 8-10 servings.
