Luscious Lemon Dessert

CRUST:
¼ cup (½ stick) butter
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup chopped nuts

FILLING:
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ cup unsifted powdered sugar
1 t. lemon extract
¼ cup whipping cream

PUDDING:
1 sm. pkg. Lemon Instant Pudding
1½ cups milk
2 t. lemon juice


Mix Crust ingredients together and press into 8” square pan.  Bake 15 minutes at 300ºF.  Let cool.  Whip cream; set aside.  Whip cream cheese with mixer until fluffy.  Add powdered sugar and lemon extract.  Blend well.  Fold in whipped cream.  Pour onto crust.  Moisten spatula to spread.  Prepare pudding and spread over cream cheese filling.  Top with whipped cream.  Let chill 4 hours.
