Cherry Thing

1½ cups flour
2 T. sugar
¾ cup nuts
1½ sticks oleo, room temp.
8 oz. cream cheese, room temp.
2 cups powdered sugar
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 can Cherry Pie Filling

Press flour, sugar, nuts and oleo in bottom of oblong pan.  Bake at 300º for 10 minutes.  Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with mixer.  Fold in Cool Whip.  Pour onto crust.  Over this, pour pie filling.
