Bread
Pudding (Mama's)

cups raisins
4
beaten eggs
1½
cups sugar
1
T. vanilla
2
cans Pet milk
1-2
cans water
½
loaf stale bread
Butter
pan.
Mix all above ingredients except bread, and pour into pan.
Break bread into small pieces and add a little at a time to
mixture.
Poke butter slices into top of mixture.
Bake at 375º until brown (1-1½ hours). SAUCE:
Boil
3 cups water in pan.
In bowl, put in 2 egg yolks and beat well.
Add 1 cup sugar, 3 heaping T. flour, and 1 can Pet (a little at
a time).
Mix together and add to water, stirring constantly.
Bring to boil.
Remove from fire and continue stirring.
About 20 minutes later, add 1 t. vanilla.
