Stuffed Peppers (Peggy's)

1½ lbs. hamburger

6 large bell peppers

Chopped onion

3 cups cooked rice

Shredded parmesan cheese

2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

2 sauce cans water

Salt, pepper & parsley flakes to taste


Cook rice and set aside. Brown hamburger and drain. Add onion, rice, and 1 can of tomato sauce. Mix together and stuff peppers. Put peppers in large baking pan and pour 1 can of tomato sauce and water on top. Sprinkle cheese on top of each pepper, cover with foil, and bake at 350º for about 30 minutes.
