Oyster Soup

1 diced onion
garlic
1 small can of tomato sauce
1 pound smoked sausage
1 dozen oysters with juice
Ro-Tel diced tomatoes
½ pound of uncooked spaghetti
salt


Brown the onions and garlic in oil. Add tomato sauce and brown for a few minutes, stirring constantly; add about 7 cups of water, sausage chunks, and oysters. Bring to a boil then add the spaghetti to cook in the pot. Not much salt is needed. Serve with hot French bread, if possible (shrimp can be used instead of oysters).
