Place
meat on rack of broiler pan. Broil 4” from heat until
lightly browned, turning once. Heat oil in large saucepan over
medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 3 minutes. Add
meat, tomatoes, potato, Pace Picante, basil, oregano and salt; bring
to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat
is tender. Stir in green pepper; simmer 10 minutes or until
vegetables are crisp-tender. Serve with cheese and additional
Pace Picante. MAKES 8 SERVINGS (8 CUPS.)
