Grilled Budget Chuck Steak

¼ cup vinegar

2 T. Worcestershire sauce

2 T. corn oil

Dash marjoram

1½ t. unseasoned meat tenderizer

Dash rosemary Dash thyme

3 lbs. chuck steak, cut 1½” thick


One hour before serving, combine vinegar, Worcestershire, oil, meat tenderizer, and herbs.  Pierce steak on all sides with fork; pour vinegar mixture over steak and refrigerate 1 hour, turning once or twice.  Grill or broil 8-12 minutes on each side, basting with vinegar mixture occasionally.  Carve into thin slices.
