Classic Egg Salad Sandwiches

6 large eggs

½ cup mayonnaise

½ t. salt

¼ t. ground black pepper

8 slices white bread

In a saucepan with enough water to cover boil eggs for 8 to 10 minutes. Rinse in cold water. Peel off shell. Place eggs in a bowl and mash with a fork. Stir in mayonnaise, salt and pepper to blend. Spread on bread to make sandwiches.
