Richard's Black Walnut Pie

3 eggs, slightly beaten

1 cup dark Karo syrup

1 cup dark brown sugar

2 T. margarine, melted

1 t. maple syrup

1½  cups black walnut bits and pieces

one 9" unbaked pie shell


In a large bowl, stir first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350º oven for 50-55 minutes, or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.
